Ham and Legs Show #051

Well, this week, as Ham coughs up a lung, there was good news and bad news going on.  Legs came UNprepared for this week’s show, Ham was not pleased.

But, Washington DC started marrying same sex couples, yippee!! And, much to Ham’s surprise, she is pleased with SCOTUS’ decision not to stop it and leave it up to DC’s city council and Mayor to decide that allowing gay marriage in DC is a good thing.  So, good for SCOTUS.

Though, Ham still thinks Chief Justice Roberts is a wuss for complaining about the President’s State of the Union address when he urged Congress to right the wrong decision of Citizen’s United….

Health Care…yeah, we’re sick of talking about it too, but this week, Rush Limbaugh, or as Ham likes to call him, Pooh Bear, decided and then rescinded (sounds like Blue Cross to us) his decision to move to Costa Rica if the Health Care bill passes.  So, there was an even BIGGER push to pass it …but alas, Pooh Bear is staying no matter what, but will go to Costa Rica for their health care…apparently he really DOES like socialized medicine, since for 60 years Costa Rica has single payer and the 3rd best rating worldwide for providing care, not just to its own residents but foreigners too!

And Sarah Plain and Tall or Todd’s wife from Wasilla admitted that when she was younger her family would border jump to Canada for health care!  She of the death panels and how BAD Canadian health care is…

So, the Public Option may be dead or not, or might, or maybe not…depends on the hour of the day.  Rep. Grayson (D, FL), has introduced a 4 page bill that would allow everyone under the age of 65 to buy into Medicare.  If the bill currently being considered and going to be fixed goes through, I say pass Grayson’s bill right away.

Why does the Texas Board of Education hate America and Thomas Jefferson?

Florida wants YOU to produce a movie there, but only if it’s okay for 5 year olds to watch.  6 and over, no need to apply! Well, we hope you enjoy this week's show.  Next week is our 1 year anniversary.  So, it's gonna be a party!!! Woo Hoo!!!  Talk at you next week!
