Ham and Legs Show #049

Health Care Smackdown 2010!  The President held his health care summit on Thursday.  He and Democrats felt there could be agreement, the GOP repeated, "Scrap the bill"...time for reconciliation, which is NOT so unusual.

Utah to criminalize miscarriages, really?

And according to Rep. Trent Franks (R. AZ), slavery was better for African Americans than current policy....really, Trent?

Olympics broadcast and NBC....apparently NBC was tape delaying the events...to what purpose?

Ham is happy with Joe Lieberman?  What????  Well, there is reason to be, Sen. Lieberman is sponsoring a bill in the Senate to repeal DADT.  Good for him.

Ham attempted to talk about the right wing militia group, the Oathkeepers, but she wasn't prepared.  Bad, Ham! Bad!

So, we hope you enjoy this week's show.  Looking forward to your comments as always!

Another great podcast. Keep up the excellent work, you two!

Listening to Legs describe his outfit, I couldn't help but reflect that, since I was wearing an old pair of jeans and a well-worn t-shirt, and had neglected to shave, I really "straighted" it up.

Since I am in a transitional phase in my career/life, not to be confused with mid-life crisis, I find that "all good things come to those who clean up well." At least that's what the bumper sticker read.

And for the record I don't know if we've ever had a listener state that I, of all people, made anyone "straighten up."

    You're welcome.
